Crooked Rattle
The Crooked Rattle is used prior to engaging in battle. It is used to summon the courage needed when one feels the need to confront the tyrannical king within. In the deep recesses of our psyche, our ego is self-righteous, so convinced that it is the victim of outside forces that it will stop at nothing to destroy all that challenges its personal narrative. This warrior’s rattle opens the mind, slices through the ego, and replaces victimhood with self-awareness and responsibility. To go deep inside one’s ego can be intimidating to the point of retreat, but entering under the trance produced by this rattle, as well as the secret crystal knife shielded within the weapon, will endow the brave warrior with the strength to nonviolently fight the most difficult of inward battles.
